March is probably one of my favourite months of the year despite being super busy with university and holidays like the 100 birthdays I have to celebrate and Easter.
These are a selection of some of the products I have been loving this March.
Hope you enjoy and let me know some of your favourites in the comments
Gel Nails from Olga's Nailzone, Shannon
My soon-to-be Aunt Karen treated me to getting a full set of nails on for my birthday. Olga is without a doubt the best place I have ever gotten nails on. She is so professional and the quality of the nails is amazing, I've had mine on for over two weeks with no re-growth. I'm obsessed. I tried my hardest to not get glitter on them, I really did but you know me. I couldn't help myself! The purple undercoat and the way it shimmers in the sunlight make my heart so happy!
Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
I am really late to the Micellar water game. For years, I had just been using the Johnson's make up removing wipes for taking off my make up at night. Mainly due to laziness on my behalf. One night I could not get the last of my lash glue off my eyes and tried to soak it off with the micellar water and wiped the rest of my face then. I was beyond shocked at how much excess make up which I thought was gone was still on my skin. Since then, I use it every time I remove my make up with wipes as a final cleanse. I would really recommend this for people with sensitive skin like myself! It lasts ages and is quite cheap so it's really worth buying at least once.
Boots Tea Tree and Witch hazel with Charcoal face mask
I am loving this mask and have been using it for about a month once a week. It really drew out all the impurities in my skin, meaning I got a lot of spots but it was worth it. I found my skin around my forehead got a lot clearer. I love how afterwards my skin feels so clean and revitalised! I leave this on for about 20 minutes and usually wash it off with a warm wash cloth about a few times to make sure all the black from the mask is gone.
JOICO K-PAK Clarifying Shampoo
My hairdresser Susan (I go to Ravenshairsalon.ie in Limerick) noticed I had some build up in my hair, due to all those nasty chemicals in water and lime build up. Susan swore to me that this product would change my life. To be honest, I never buy products from the salon, mainly because they are so expensive. I think she knew I was pretty hesitant and she gave me a massive sample (enough for roughly three washes and I have a lot of hair). With this product you do need to leave it sit for about five minutes then wash out and condition as normal.
Let me tell you, this product is AMAZING. My hair felt amazing. I went back in and bought it for 20 Euro. It is pretty expensive for a shampoo but as Susan said you only need to use it once a week. My hair always feels phenomenal afterwards, I feel like I belong in a shampoo ad.
JOICO K-PAK RevitaLuxe Conditioner
This conditioner I've been using once every couple of weeks. I'm really liking the way it leaves my hair feeling. The consistency is pretty thick and it's hard to get out of the tube. I apply it to the ends of my hair mainly where I have the most damage and spilt ends.
Blossoms and Butterflies ~ Jane Heyes
I got this colouring book for Christmas off my Mom and I am obsessed. I keep it in my back pack for college but I'm really into it lately to de stress around exam time. I was never one for colouring as a child but find it so relaxing. I basically just colour when watching movies and tv.
NYX Extra Creamy Round Lipstick in B52
This is by far one of my holy grail lipsticks! I bought it on a whim last year before a Miss Galway event when I forgot my lipstick at home. I adore this colour, NYX describe it as a soft mauve pink. It is my go to lipstick for a night out because it's so hydrating and even when it wears off it leaves a gorgeous natural stain. It lasts ages and is way cheaper than a MAC one. I'm not going to lie to you, I broke my first one on a night out and I ordered three more from Boots because I had a nightmare that NYX discontinued it. But I got three for around 16 Euro which is the equivalent of one MAC lipstick. Bargain!
If you want to see pictures of me wearing it, I'm usually wearing it in the majority of my selfies on Instagram!
I hope you enjoyed my monthly favourites! Don't forget to let me know yours in the comments
